Monstruosa is a project that blends creativity, humor, and a uniquely playful approach to artist representation. The initial request was as original as the concept itself: “The Manager,” the central figure and official voice of the brand, arrived with a clear mission — to build a website where the world could discover the artists she proudly represents, all through her distinctive, eccentric lens.
In its first iteration, the website featured a visually bold and playful interface. However, after initial user testing, we realized that the design failed to fully communicate the character-driven, whimsical identity of the brand. This insight led to a strategic pivot: we placed “The Manager” at the center of the experience, turning her into the guide and narrator of the digital journey.
The site was reimagined as an interactive space where users are led through the unique world of represented artists by “The Manager” herself. Visually, we struck a balance between a childlike aesthetic and a functional interface, ensuring that storytelling took center stage without compromising usability.
This project exemplifies how web design can function as a form of creative direction — where structure, narrative, and user experience converge to bring a singular brand like Monstruosa to life.
