About Me

My name is Patricio Lizama. I’m 33 years old, originally from Chile, and have been living in Melbourne since 2023. I’m a Graphic Designer by profession, specialized in Web Design, with over a decade of experience working with a wide range of clients — from small local businesses to large companies across different sectors.

My journey into design and tech started long before university. As a child, I was endlessly curious about how things worked. Thanks to my family — especially my older brother — I was introduced to coding and logic at the age of 10, and by 11, I had built my first website. That early exposure sparked my lifelong passion for digital spaces and their potential to create, connect, and inspire.

Those first websites — for gaming communities (as Age of Empires II 👴🏻)and local groups — may have been simple, but they taught me the foundations of the web at a time when few kids my age were exploring that world. I still remember using Microsoft FrontPage, Adobe Dreamweaver, and even creating my first animations with Macromedia Flash MX (yeah, i know 👴🏻👴🏻👴🏻). They were the seeds of what would become my profession.

After completing my studies in Graphic Design, I knew exactly where I wanted to focus: web design and development. I started freelancing, collaborating on a variety of projects in my hometown, including a return to the government agency where I had done my internship — now as a UI Designer.

At the same time, I was becoming increasingly interested in the emerging world of SEO. Alongside two classmates, we launched our first money sites, experimenting with White Hat strategies inspired by what we were learning from digital marketing forums. What began as a side project ended up generating real revenue — we were earning directly from Google.

In 2016, I was offered the opportunity that would become a turning point in my career: building the website for Rock en Conce 2017, the largest free music festival in southern Chile. For a music lover like me, it was a dream come true.

The experience led to something even greater. Together with the team, we decided to create our own design studio — and that’s how Kondimento was born: four passionate designers offering integrated creative services. It was at Kondimento that I truly grew — not only as a designer, but also as a project manager and digital strategist, focusing entirely on the web space.

Today, after 9 years of entrepreneurship and creative work, I continue to evolve. Though I’m now based in Melbourne, my connection to Concepción and my team remains strong. I’m currently pursuing a specialization in Marketing and Communication — a field that excites me more each day, and one I know will play a big role in shaping my future projects.
